I'm looking for a specific one-person card game?

I'm looking for the name and rules of a single player card game. The deck is held face down and the top four cards are turned face up. Cards are eliminated by suit, however, I can't remember how or in what combinations. If there is no match then another card may be turned face up and the card at the end is tucked under another card until two ore more of the face up cards are eliminated; at which point, instead of drawing, the hidden cards are used to replenish the face up cards until there are four again. Does this ring any bells for anyone?
