Che Guevara, Murderer or Hero?

I read his biography, his book, and watched a few films about him. I think hes really inspirational, the way he fought for his country, but others claim things like, "He was an angry murderer creep," and other things. Mostly because he executed a few people, but then I gotta say, "What government/war/movement other than hippies hasn't? I don't believe violence gets everything but sometimes it seems necessary when your people are being pushed around by your government. So I guess tell me your insight about this topic and what you think.
