Why are insane/phycotic people smart...?

Are there any ties to it? Maybe insane people have a higher capacity of knowledge.What i think is...When you have sanity means your in that little box in your mind,but when your insane means your out of that box,more open minded to everything.By insane i dont mean crazy and stupid and gibberish speaking,but i mean a person to have a different tru'er view of the world,and Is considered crazy because he knows and speaks the truth,Small example.Charles manson,He is considered a serial killer and crazy but is quite smart,A bigger example,Albert einsteine...his thoughts were extremely crazy but true,Another example,Ernesto che guevara,He must have been pretty insane to have done everything he did and thought the way he did(again insane because he knew the truth) Fidel castro,read up on his history,a normal person would not do the things he did,But i admire fidel castro he did great things,bad or good.Jack the ripper...Well..you get my flow.
